Year 2 Millennium Trip

TRIP DAY REMINDER

Tomorrow is our Year 2 trip day to the Millennium. Here are a few things to remember... 

 - Wear mufti clothes to school - Sports shoes(sneakers), T.Shirt, Jumper and shorts or leggings. 
- Bring your morning tea and lunch and your drink bottle 
- Bring your named togs and towel in a named plastic bag. (Put this inside your school bag) 
- Each child will take their school bag with them on the trip.

Some of our Apps

I have had some parents asking me what Apps we have been using in the classroom.  I thought that I could list Apps here on our blog as a reference point.  So lets start with... 

Literacy Apps

We use this MeeGenius App everyday as part of our Daily 5 Reading programme.  The children can pick a story and listen to it while reading along or choose to read it themselves.  You can get a few books Free or pay to get extra books. 

Sock Puppets lets you create your own lip-synched videos. Add Puppets, props, scenery, and backgrounds and start creating. Hit the record button and the puppets automatically lip-synch to your voice.

Word Bingo is a great for spelling and sight word practice.

Lights, Camera, Play! Toontastic is a Creative Learning tool that empowers kids to draw, animate, and share their own cartoons through imaginative play. Have a go, make up a story with your child.
